• Men’s Movie and Pizza Night
• Men, you are invited to a Men’s Movie and Pizza Night on Friday 24th February at a venue to be announced, starting at 7.00pm. We’re planning to watch a movie called “Invincible,” starring Mark Wahlberg, Greg Kinnear and Elizabeth Banks. 
  
  The plan is to chat, eat and drink – and then just relax and watch the movie together. Feel free to invite friends if you would like to. The only cost is $5.00 per head to cover the cost of the pizza. Please RSVP to Trevor and advise what sort of pizza you want, so he can order ahead.
  
  Synopsis:

• On New Year’s Day there will be a prayer service, focusing on praying for our city, country, overseas church workers, our Church and families. This will also signal the beginning of 21 days of prayer and fasting, which will culminate in a progressive lunch on Sun, Jan 22nd – more details to follow.

• Come and share a Christmas celebration with Hope Community Church. We will enjoy dinner, carol singing, puppets etc. There will be no morning service on this day. All are welcome.

• Blacksmithing Exhibition & BBQ
• Ionart (Matt's factory): Factory 1 / 9-10 Carl Court, Hallam, Victoria, Australia (MAP)
• Come along to a BBQ lunch, followed by an exhibition of Blacksmithing on Saturday 19th November at Matt’s Factory (Factory 1/ 9-10 Carl Court Hallam) starting at 12.00 noon.
  
  To comply with OHS standards we have decided to put the following safety conditions in place:
  • Only children 10 years of age or older will be able to attend this exhibition.
  • All those in attendance will need to wear covered footwear such as shoes or boots. The
  wearing of sandals, thongs or other similar types of footwear will not be permitted.
  • Ear plugs will be provided for all those in attendance.

• Church Picnic/BBQ at Wilson Botanic Park (following our church service)
• Wilson Botanic Park : 668 Princes Highway, Berwick, Victoria, Australia (MAP)
• On Sunday, October 30th, we will have a shorter Church Service (with no message) at our regular venue at Oatlands Primary School Gym. We will then head to Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick for a picnic/BBQ lunch (weather permitting of course – we haven’t had much luck trying this over the last 2 years but maybe this is our time!!!). Hope to see you there.
