Fun, excitement, anticipation.....

Hope Community Kids' Church is an exciting service held every Sunday (10.30am) that provides a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children to grow in their faith, equipping them for life's challenges. Hope Community Tod Squad for preschoolers is also held every Sunday (10.30am) and includes bible stories, singing and games.

What goes on at Kids' Church?

Bible Lessons:
Using drama, videos and stories read from the Bible we endeavour to teach and inspire children to live the way God wants them to live.
Puppets:
Puppets are used to illustrate the life application of the lesson taught during the service.
Songs:
Lively upbeat songs are an important part of Kids' Church. Children can communicate with God how great He is through music.
Object Lessons:
Object lessons are a creative and visual way to help understand the main message.
Memory Verses:
Memory verses help the children to remember the Word of God so they can apply it to their lives. A memory verse is given for children to take home each week and they are encouraged to remember it.
Drama:
Drama is an important interactive way for the kids to learn. It’s fun and demonstrates how people feel. It is sometimes performed in the main service for the adults by the children or in Kids' Church.
Games:
Lots of challenging games help stimulate the children's learning and add lots of excitement to Kids' Church .
Life Stories:
These are made up of stories told with posters, transparencies or slides to give a life application of the lesson taught during the service.
Special Events:
A special event is held about every six weeks which may include guest leaders, a Games Day, Video Morning or Fancy Dress Up Morning (where the kids dress up in a Bible character costume, for example).

Tod Squad

Tod Squad is an enjoyable, informal time for children aged between twelve months and five years of age.

The leaders read stories from the Bible (little ones' version) and pray with the children. Also, there are crafts, music and toys to play with. Tod squad is held in the foyer of the Gym next to the main church service.

Parents' Information

T
eam members have been police-checked /working with children checked as we have a high awareness for the safety of the children. We believe Kids' Church should be the safest place a child can be.

We meet in a large air-conditioned, heated portable with toilets within the building. It is carpeted and has a small kitchen, so comfort and safety are of a high standard.

We strive to help each child discover their gifting and give opportunity to use them.
